WELCOME!

Welcome to the inaugural issue of the Project ReDirect, Inc. Newsletter!

We proudly celebrate the people and programs that make our mission possible. Across all PRD locations, we’re highlighting the dedicated staff and innovative initiatives that are making a meaningful impact on the communities we serve. Inside, you’ll find a closer look at our work, our growth, and the incredible individuals who bring our mission to life every day.

As we launch this first issue, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our incredible staff, dedicated supporters, and the broader community that continues to stand beside us. Your unwavering commitment, compassion, and belief in our mission make everything we do possible.

Together, we are building more than programs — we are creating pathways to empowerment, independence, and belonging. Every act of service, every collaboration, and every moment of care moves us closer to a shared vision: a world where every individual has the opportunity to thrive.

Thank you for being part of the Project ReDirect family and for the difference you make each day. Please be on the lookout for future volumes of the PRD Newsletter, which will be published quarterly in 2026.

With appreciation,
The Project ReDirect Leadership Team

Every organization has stories worth telling but at Project ReDirect, our stories carry heart. They live in the people who show up early, stay late, and keep our mission moving when no one’s watching. This first edition of our newsletter is a celebration of that spirit the resilience, compassion, and quiet excellence that define us.

Creating this issue was no small task. My sincere thanks to Brian Martin, our Editor, and contributors Boluwatife Akingbesote, DC Contributor and Sabrina Siddique, NYC Contributor. Their dedication, creativity, and persistence turned an idea into something that reflects who we are as a community.

Project ReDirect has grown far beyond its beginnings. Today, we stand in multiple cities, united by one purpose: to restore dignity, stability, and hope. As we continue to expand our programs and embrace innovation, connection will be our strongest tool. This newsletter is one way we stay connected to share our progress, celebrate our people, and remember why this work matters.

Thank you for everything you bring to this mission. Let’s keep building together.

— Harold King
